Josephine D Baker

Josephine D Baker is an MA student in Economics at the New School for Social Research and Heilbroner Center Graduate Fellow for 2021-2022. She is interested in Political Economy, Comparative Systems, and Labor Economics. Her current research focuses on critiquing Hayek’s reductionist subjective conceptualization of knowledge. This work puts Hayek in conversation with Elinor Ostrom and Herbert Simon and argues for an social and organizational understanding of the role of knowledge in the economy.
