Erin Simmons

Erin Simmons is a PhD Student in anthropology at The New School for Social Research. Her research focuses on poverty measurement, global policy networks, and shifting structures of power in the development sector. Erin holds a BA in Archaeology and Anthropology from the University of Oxford, and an MSc in International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies from the London School of Economics. She was a 2019 – 2020 fellow at the Heilbroner Center for Capitalism Studies.
